U.S. existing home sales fall 2.5% in November

Existing-home sales fell five consecutive months of increases in November. Total existing-home sales dipped 2.5% from October to a seasonally-adjusted annual rate of 6.69 million, the National Association of Realtors reported Tuesday. Sales fell on a monthly basis across all regions except the West, where they remained unchanged from October. Compared with a year ago, home sales were up nationally nearly 26%.
