Trump not ‘out of the woods’ yet but meets discharge criteria, doctor says

President Donald Trump has met or exceeded discharge criteria after being treated for COVID-19, but is not “out of the woods” yet, his physician told reporters Monday. Speaking at Walter Reed hospital in Bethesda, Md., Dr. Sean Conley said the president’s team supported his “safe return home, where he’ll be surrounded by world-class medical care 24/7.” The White House doctor said if Trump’s team can get him through to Monday, they will take a “deep sigh of relief.”
