Stocks open slightly lower after 4-day rally

U.S. stocks opened slightly lower Friday even as a monthly jobs report was stronger than expected. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 36 points, 0.1%, to open near 28,354, while the S&P 500 was down 5 points or 0.1%, near 3,506. The Nasdaq Composite was down 27 points, 0.2%, near 11,864. The U.S. added 603,000 jobs in October, the Labor Department said Friday morning, above economist expectations. Separately, shares of Peloton Inc. ticked lower after the bell after the home-exercise equipment company said it was having delivery challenges.
