Southwest to fly from O’Hare in Chicago for first time: report

Southwest Airlines is set to offer flights from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport for the first time, Crain’s Chicago Business reports. The Dallas-based airline has had a major presence at Chicago’s Midway Airport since 1985, where it is the largest carrier. It said in a news release that it has more than 4,800 Chicago-based employees. Southwest said its O’Hare flights would begin in the first half of 2021 but did not reveal the number of flights planned or destinations.
