McDonald’s adds apple fritter, blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll to menu

McDonald’s Corp. said Wednesday it is adding new baked goods to its menu for the first time in eight years. The fast-food giant said from Wednesday, customers will be able to buy apple fritters, blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls at restaurants, at the Drive Thru and through McDelivery. Shares were up 0.5% premarket, and have gained 13.4% in the year to date, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen 2.7% and the S&P 500 has gained 4%.
