KFC parent Yum Brands to offer $1.05 billion of bonds

Yum Brands Inc. said Wednesday it is planning to offer $1.05 billion of bonds, joining the many companies issuing record levels of debt during the pandemic. The parent of Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC, said it will use the proceeds to redeem all outstanding $1.05 billion of senior notes due in 2024. Shares were not active premarket, but are down 7% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 3%.
