HP chief financial officer to depart

/ / News

HP Inc. announced Wednesday afternoon that Chief Financial Officer Steve Fieler is leaving the company and will be replaced on an interim basis by Marie Myers as of Oct. 1. Fieler had been CFO of HP since 2018 and worked for the company since 2004; the company did not reveal his new role except to say it was outside the company. Myers has been serving as HP’s chief transformation officer, but has previously served the company as global controller and CFO of the personal systems group, HP’s personal-computer division. “Marie is a highly respected leader within HP whose financial acumen and operational rigor will serve her well in this important role,” Chief Executive Enrique Lores said in Wednesday’s announcement. HP announced it would begin a search for a new CFO and look both inside and outside the company.
