/ / News

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday that schools could reopen in September. The decision is based on low infection rates in the state’s 10 regions, Cuomo said. He also called on school districts to have discussions with parents and explain their plans for reopening and safety guidelines. He said the districts must give parents three opportunities by Aug. 21 to explain their plans and allow them to ask questions. “The more dialogue, the better,” he said. — Pete CatapanoMarket Pulse Stories are Rapid-fire, short news bursts on stocks and markets as they move.
