Cuomo to impose new restrictions for COVID hotspots in New York City and state

/ / News

COVID-19 hotspots in New York City and throughout the state will face new restrictions as part of an effort to fight the spread of the coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday. That includes closing nonessential businesses, limiting restaurants to take-out only and limiting religious gatherings to a maximum of 10 people in the areas with the highest infection rates. Lesser-impacted areas will also see new restrictions, which could go into effect as early as Wednesday. — By Leslie Hendrickson
