Cisco Systems nabs Autodesk’s CFO

Autodesk Inc. said late Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Scott Herren is leaving in mid-December to become chief financial officer at Cisco Systems Inc. . “Scott has played a critical role in driving the business over the last six years and was instrumental in helping Autodesk successfully navigate the business model transition,” Chief Executive Andrew Anagnost said in a statement. Autodesk has started its search for a new CFO and said it expects to report fiscal third-quarter 2021 results, scheduled for Nov. 24, “above Autodesk’s guidance range across all Q3 guidance metrics.” Shares of Autodesk rose nearly 5% in the extended session after ending the regular trading day down 0.4%. Cisco reported third-quarter earnings on Thursday.
