Chemours to offer $750 million of bonds

Chemicals company The Chemours Co. said Thursday it is offering $750 million of senior notes in a private offering, joining the many companies raising record levels of capital during the pandemic. The company did not offer details of maturity. Proceeds will be used to repay the outstanding 6.625% senior notes due 2023. Shares were not active premarket, but have gained 24% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 10.6%.
