Carnival’s Costa Cruises to temporarily suspend Greek cruises

Shares of Carnival Corp. dropped 3.5% in premarket trading Friday, after the cruise operator said its Costa Cruises will suspend cruises to Greece, citing travel restrictions imposed by the Greek government in response to increases in new coronavirus cases. Costa Deliziosa will end the current cruise on Nov. 7, will cancel the next seven scheduled cruises and expects to resume operations on Dec. 26, with an Italian itinerary. The stock has tumbled 72.1% year to date through Thursday, while the S&P 500 has gained 8.7%.
