Biden proposes commission to study court-packing and other reforms

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has told CBS News’ 60 Minutes that if elected he would establish a bipartisan national commission of scholars that would come up with recommendations for reforming the court system. In an excerpt from an interview slated to air Sunday, the former vice president said the commission would study “a number of alternatives that go well beyond packing,” in a reference to how some Democrats have called for expanding the Supreme Court.
